About the Role
As a Technical Support Engineer for Land Surveying Equipment, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers get the most out of their technological investments. You will provide exceptional technical support to a diverse range of customers, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, diagnosing problems, and offering clear and concise solutions.
As our in-house Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer, you will work hand-in-hand with our surveying equipment sales person, providing essential technical and on-site expertise that directly supports their efforts and enhances our customer relationships.
Your primary responsibilities will include preparing precise drawings for setting out and then presenting and performing the actual setting out on site. Beyond the technical execution, a key part of your role will involve advising customers on the optimal choice of equipment and processes, drawing from your practical experience and understanding of their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing drawings for setting out.
- Presenting equipment on site based on prepared drawings.
- Performing surveying / setting out on site.
- Advising customers on equipment and process choices.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest land surveying equipment and technologies through ongoing training and professional development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying (at minimum).
- Demonstrable experience in Irish construction.
- Exceptional CAD and general computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen aptitude for learning.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new things.
- Proficiency in using computers and common technical software programs.

- Pay: €39,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
