About the Role

As a Technical Support Engineer for Land Surveying Equipment, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers get the most out of their technological investments. You will provide exceptional technical support to a diverse range of clients, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, diagnosing problems, and offering clear and concise solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to land surveying equipment users via phone, email, and online chat.

  • Troubleshoot a wide range of equipment issues, including total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and field software.

  • Diagnose problems efficiently and accurately, pinpointing root causes and developing effective solutions.

  • Communicate clearly and concisely with customers from a variety of technical backgrounds, ensuring they understand the issue and the resolution.

  • Document technical support interactions thoroughly and maintain accurate records for future reference.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest land surveying equipment and technologies through ongoing training and professional development.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience troubleshooting technical problems in a customer service environment.

  • A strong understanding of land surveying principles and equipment, including total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and field software.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify root causes.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new things.

  • Proficiency in using computers and common technical software programs.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with specific land surveying equipment brands (GeoMax, Leica, Trimble, Topcon, other brands).

  • A relevant technical certification (e.g., Certified Survey Technician).

  • Experience working in the land surveying industry.
